Hatter arrived on a very bad day. King is going to be kind of embarrassed about his drunken antics for. at least a little bit. W-WAS NOT COOL [headhands]

But basically he likes Hatter. At least up until the point where he manages to hurt your feelings it's nice to have someone who's feelings he apparently can't hurt. He doesn't honestly care a lot about the blind shit?? He's very precalibrated to accept ridiculous badass so if Hatter is like some kind of fake not being blind ninja which SEEMS LIKE THE CASE when with no memories at all he gets the hang of navigating while blind without looking like a dumbass in under ten minutes, than yea. w/e. He might fret over it in specific circumstances but in general doesn't care.

He kinda surprised himself with TEAMINESS because King doesn't think of himself as very teamy, but team is replacing a lot of the foundations he lacks (his friends and his bro), so even if he has to be DISTANT AND COOL ABOUT IT. Team is just a.... huge part of his life and it's going to be a huge part of yours too ok (= We have rules!! Teaminess rules!!! Suck it up.

Anyway basically he's glad to have Hatter aboard and hopes he doesn't accidentally fuck you over. He doesn't remember a lot of what he said while drunk but is kind of embarrassed about it anyway and will just. avoid ever thinking about it again

TREE IS... PUTZING ALONG awkwardly. But he's kind of run out of steam for his rage really fast so he's just trying to. Adjust. As best he can. And that's never something he's been good at, but it's worse when there are people that know him that he doesn't know and he's kind of scared to let Clue and Breeze out of his sight but still does it and ffff...

He's a wreck, but he won't stop being a wreck any time soon or probably ever, so!

CHESHIRE IS HIS SECOND-FAVORITE TEAMMATE!1

Honestly Cheshire would be his favorite teammate but he comes across as a lot more vulnerable and protective than King at the same time and Hatter has problems with that. HE HAS... A LOT OF KIND OF UNFORTUNATE CHESHIREDERE.

Hatter has already figured out that he's an asshole, and that that does bother Cheshire at least a little, so he feels kind of bad for that. And Cheshire is clearly trying to protect him and cope with things that are currently beyond him for Hatter's sake (EYEFUCKERYYYY) which Hatter isn't. Comfortable with, at all. IT'S TOUCHING? But no thanks. It just makes Hatter want to protect Cheshire, especially from the consequences of Cheshire trying to protect him.

But overall he thinks Cheshire is sweet and helpful and is honestly fond of him and would kill dudes for his safety behind his back.
